There are many factors determining the level of fees to be charged by the CS who enrols in the Programme. Thus, depending on your choice of CS, you may be required to pay a co-payment fee for the “Standard Package of Colonoscopy Service” on top of the Government subsidy. However, this amount should not be more than HK$1,000.

You should note that the co-payment fees for the “Standard Package of Colonoscopy Service”:

1. refer to the fees charged by the CS on you on top of the Government’s subsidy to provide the “Standard Package of Colonoscopy Service”;
2. may be different depending on whether a polyp(s) is removed or not;
3. are clearly listed at this website and on the mini-poster in the CS clinic for you to consider and compare; and
4. would be payable once only, after the colonoscopy examination, but not after the pre-procedural consultation.
