In the Programme, the enrolled CS is responsible for delivering the “Standard Package of Colonoscopy Service" which includes:

1. One pre-procedural consultation;
2. Colonoscopy examination as a day case including conscious sedation and consumables for the removal of polyp¹ e.g. clips, hot biopsy forceps or snare, as appropriate;
3. Post-procedural consultation(s) which is optional and will be required for explaining the histopathology result, if any, findings at colonoscopy examination and subsequent management.

[1]The cost for the histopathology examination and report will be borne by the Government.
